Ferrari-Carano Fume Blanc – Citrus, mango, kiwi, and lime aromas are complemented by flavors of vanilla, guava and grapefruit in Ferrari-Carano’s 2009 Fumé Blanc. Cool, stainless steel tank fermentation gives this wine a crisp freshness while the subtle oak character from barrel aging adds great complexity and depth

Ferrari-Carano Tre-Terre Chardonnay – 91 Points Wine Enthusiast, There is a lot of oak on this Chard, sourced from multiple vineyards, and the barrel influences currently dominate, with vanilla, butterscotch and caramel flavors many people confuse with the taste of Chardonnay itself. In this case, the underlying pineapple, pear and green apple fruit is ample enough to support all that weight.

Ferrari-Carano Siena – SIENA has delicious aromas of cherries, blackberries and currants complemented by sweet vanilla oak and caramel. On the palate, this wine offers ripe, juicy, baked berry pie with anise, cocoa and cola flavors, with lively acidity, supple tannins and a lingering finish.

Ferrari-Carano Merlot - This is a velvety wine with a complex nose of fresh cherries, pomegranate and rhubarb pie, accented by intricately woven flavors of strawberry, brown sugar and créme brulee. This wine delights with a medium-bodied mid-palate, generous and approachable mouthwatering tannins, and a sweet, lively, smooth finish.
Ferrari-Carano Tresor – 92 points Wine Spectator, A supple, harmonious effort. Full-bodied, showing ripe, fleshy currant, black cherry and plum flavors, with spicy, herbal, cedary notes. Charming, graceful and balanced, both complex and subtle, with a long, full finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc.

Pichot Vouvrey - Off-dry and flattering, with tasty quince, fig and pear flavors backed by a lilting floral note on the lively finish.

Joseph Drouhin Chablis - Ripe, with a viscous texture framing peach and floral notes. This is slightly heavy, with a grapefruit peel note on the finish and discreet flavors.

Laforet Pinot Noir - There's a nice blast of cherry fruit up front, turning slightly lean on the finish. This shows good Pinot character.

Chateau Campuget Rouge - Shows herb and mineral notes up front, backed by a modest core of red currant and cherry fruit. Lightly crisp, but with good drive. Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre.

Condesa Eylo – Verdejo & Sauvignon Blanc. Green apple and pear flavors are ripe yet crisp in this silky white. Bright lemon-lime acidity keeps it lively, with floral and beeswax notes that add interest on the finish.

Penfold’s Thomas Hyland Chardonnay – Fruity, with pretty pear and greengage flavors on an open-textured frame, lingering delicately.

Columbia Winery Syrah – Bright red plums, dark berries and earth fill the nose. The palate is filled with dark ripe fruits, smoke and black pepper followed by a rich and lengthy finish.

Silver Palm Cabernet Sauvignon – Hearty and intense, if a bit chunky, with concentrated dried currant and berry flavors that are also quite dry and tannic.

‘R’ Syrah - The bouquet delivers the signature Runquist cellar character of hazelnut and vanilla with a uniquely smoky edge. On the palate flavors of zesty blackberry and fully ripened plums mingle with a bit of mocha and chocolate. The texture is thick and rich yet soft as the tannins are well tamed. The lengthy finish is loaded with ripe fruit and smoky toasted oak.

‘Z’ Zinfandel - The aroma is full of bright red fruits; cherry, raspberry and plum with hints of violet and lavender. We use a larger percentage of second fill barrels for the “Z” Zinfandel and this creates a subtle bouquet that features the Zinfandel fruit while adding just a waft of hazelnut, and vanilla. The flavors of succulent ripe red berries are delivered via a luscious fluid full of soft ripe tannins.

‘R’ Petite Sirah - The bouquet features dark chocolate along with the jammy fruit. Flavors of smoky boysenberry and blackberries are balanced by creamy French oak. The texture is full of well-rounded tannins and should add to the wine’s complexity given some bottle age.

‘R’ Cabernet Sauvignon - The wine delivers classic aromas of currant and cassis along with notes of tobacco leaf and dried herbs. Smoky vanilla oak is the featured scent in the bouquet. On the palate, the wine delivers juicy red and black fruits with a medium to full body with dusty, flinty tannins.

A to Z Riesling - Fresh aromas of slate, lime, white flowers, minerals and citrus leap from the glass. More complex nuances of strawberries, orange blossom and spice emerge in time. In the mouth, the wine is vibrant and alive with focused and powerful flavors that echo the aromas on the attack. A long, clean finish with final flavors of wet stones and minerals completes this complex and beautiful wine.

Bethel Heights Estate Pinot Noir - Initial aromas of clove and anise give way to red cranberry, oak spice, and white peach as the wine opens in the glass. The entry is juicy with Royal Anne cherry, hints of citrus, and firm yet balanced acidity carrying the wine to the finish.

Ercavio Roble Tempranillo - This plump red offers cherry, plum and light vanilla flavors that are simple but fresh, soft and gentle.

Merkin Chupacabra – Smooth and spicy, with lively wild berry and blackberry flavors that are crisp and inviting. Drinks well. Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Sangiovese.

Chasing Lions - 55% Merlot, 25% Cabernet, 10% Cabernet Franc, 7% Syrah, 3% Petite Verdot. The 2006 Chasing Lions Bordeaux style red blend exhibits a fragrant bouquet of black currant, cedar, spice box and espresso. Accompanied by flavors of mocha, black cherry and toasty oak. Dense and medium bodied, with beautiful texture, this cuvee showcases the wonderful and complex terroir of the Napa Valley.
